The Fondation du Risque (FDR) was created in 2007 on the initiative of four academic institutions (the Economic Center of Actuaries, the Ecole Polytechnique, the ENSAE and the University of Paris-Dauphine) and four financial institutions (Allianz (formerly AGF), Axa, Groupama and Société Générale) with the aim of making a lasting contribution to the development of French research potential in all areas of risk.
Since its creation in 2007, the Fondation du Risque, a recognized public utility foundation, has been committed to initiating research and development actions, in particular by promoting teaching and research projects and disseminating knowledge through high-level training programs. It also aims to promote risk education by disseminating knowledge to the general public as well as to an informed public.
CNP Assurances supports the Digital insurance and long term risk-(DIALog) Chair of Excellence, dedicated to artificial intelligence applied to the insurance sector. A project intended to enhance the societal role of CNP Assurances and to reflect on the short, medium and long term impact of artificial intelligence tools on the insurance sector and its environment.
